Information about Plaster Of Paris Bandage:
A white woven cloth gauze bandage coated with plaster of Paris. The bandage comes wrapped around a plastic spool, which is designed to allow rapid and even wetting upon immersion. Once wet the bandage sets, forming a hard and rigid structure that is both porous and absorbent.
Usage:
For immobilization to protect limbs with broken bones.
Features:
• Solidification time is fast and steady:2-5minutes.
• Time of soaking in water is fast: 5-10sec.
• It becomes dry very fast after solidification. The intensity reaches 3.2Mpa after 8min.
• The general position of patient body is wrapped up in 6-8 layers, while the position under pressure is wrapped up in 8-12 layers.
• Interlocked weave of the cloth helps in plaster retention & provides high degree of accuracy

Usage Information:
